Alison Casey

Head Teacher

Alison is our Head Teacher at Portfield School.

My name is Alison Casey and I have worked for Autism Wessex for 9 years, previously to this I worked as a teacher at other local specialist provisions. My passion is Autism and love the experiences it brings, the smiles, the achievements and the success of the young people we meet and support.

I have 3 children and live locally. In my spare time I enjoy walking, reading, swimming and spending time with my family.

I studied at Southampton University for a Degree in Psychology, my PGCE at Greenwich and a Masters Degree in Autism (in children) at Birmingham.
